Our research spans Organic Chemistry, Photochemistry, and Membrane Biophysics. We develop artificial light-activated molecular machines and switches to probe and manipulate membranes with spatiotemporal precision. Additionally, we design photoactive molecular cages to study photocatalysis in confinement and to perform chemical separations driven by light.
